Former President George H.W. Bush was released from Methodist Hospital in Texas on Monday.
The statement released and shared by the post-White House spokesman for the former President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush, Jim McGrath says, “President George H.W. Bush was discharged today from Houston Methodist Hospital after being treated for pneumonia.”
“He is thankful for the many prayers and kind messages he received during his stay, as well as the world-class care that both his doctors and nurses provided.”
Earlier this month, the former President and his wife Barbara were hospitalized.
Mrs. Bush was admitted to the hospital for “precaution” due to fatigue and coughing and her husband George was admitted to the ICU because of respiratory problems from pneumonia.
