Remember the 90’s Nicholas Sparks book turned film “A Walk to Remember”? The romantic drama hit theaters in 2002 and now 15 years later Mandy Moore reunited with her former co-star Shane West and film director Adam Shankman.
Mandy Moore shared the reunion via Instagram.
The “This is Us” star also provided a cute message to go with the photograph: Welp. These 2 gentlemen are still some of the best around. Loved catching up with ya, @theshanewest and @adamshankman. My ❤ is full. #awalktoremember #reunion

In response to the post social media has shared lots of love.
Years ago, the romantic drama won the hearts of teeny boppers across the country as they watched the pastor’s daughter Jamie Sullivan a character played by Mandy Moore fall in love with the town’s bad boy, Landon Carter while she was dying from cancer.
It was one of the first teen dramas that many young adults watched that dealt with the issue of cancer and death. Cancer kills an estimated 564,800 Americans a year, according to Thomara Latimer Cancer Foundation, a group focused on helping families deal with a cancer diagnosis.
The diagnosis and even the death of a loved one from cancer is a difficult topic to discuss.
The National Cancer Institute provides a list of suggestions when speaking about or to a family member with cancer, a subject that was briefly addressed in the film “A Walk to Remember” and one that is multilayered and emotional.
