New mom, 52-year-old Hoda Kotb is celebrating her newborn baby girl, Haley Joy, in every way she possibly can and so are TODAY show viewers, fans, co-workers and the host’s personal friends.
On Monday, a friend of Kotb, country singer Carrie Underwood surprised the morning show host with a pair of pink cowboy boots for her precious little bundle of bliss Haley Joy.
The TODAY Show host shared the news via Twitter on Monday.

Best of all, Kotb announced that its Haley Joy’s first pair of cowboy boots.
Earlier this month, Faithwire reported about Kotb’s decision to adopt and how her personal battle with breast cancer changed her life.
Kotb has previously shared that the decision for her to adopt was not easy because she personally wanted to conceive herself but couldn’t do so because of her cancer treatments. And almost a decade after she finished her last treatment, she realized that she wanted more to her life.
Explaining in an interview with PEOPLE that, “I couldn’t push away anymore” the feelings of wanting to have a baby. So she decided to embrace them and move forward with the adoption process.
It is clear from all of her wonderful social media shares over the last six weeks that she made an excellent decision and her friends and family couldn’t be happier for her.
