It’s some of the more compelling – and disturbing – live footage you’ll ever see.
But it’s nothing new for the pastor of Apologia Church in Arizona, Jeff Durbin. He routinely stands outside Planned Parenthood abortion clinics and pleads with pregnant women seeking an abortion to reconsider, and has seen countless babies saved in the process. Earlier today, Durbin and his team were out in front of another abortion clinic, and while the camera respects the privacy of the people going in and does not show them, you can hear the urgency in his voice as he desperately tries to get them to come over for a conversation.
With the stakes so high, Durbin doesn’t mince words.
“Sir, Have Mercy on Your Child. Be a Father. Don’t Be a Coward. Stand Up for the Life of Your Child Today!” he said to one set of parents walking into the clinic earlier this afternoon. Durbin can be seen and heard saying through a loudspeaker being held by one of his team members. “We’ll take care of your needs. We’ll give you what you want. God commands you not to murder your child. Mom, please let us help you! These people don’t love you, they don’t care for you. They’re trying to soothe your conscience, because what you are doing is murdering your child.”
Pastor Durbin shows up around the 55:00 mark in the video, and can be seen and heard for the remainder of the Facebook live feed.

Aside from the intensity of the interactions with the often hostile planned parenthood employees, Durbin also takes time between visitors to shoot down common pro-choice arguments.
Durbin said the pro-choice movement has had “40 years” to craft their argument but have “failed” spectacularly to make a coherent, rational argument. He pauses to run down the gamut of arguments, including but not limited to ‘It’s only a fetus’; ‘Don’t want an abortion, don’t have one’; ‘A woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her own body’; ‘It’s not quite developed yet’; and more.
While his passion for backing up his presence with solid argumentation and reason is evident, so too is his concern for the possible loss of unborn life about to take place. As another person apparently walks up, Durbin pleads for them to reconsider.
“God calls you to turn from this place of murder and death. We’re out here to love you and provide for your needs. Please, please don’t murder your child today.”
Durbin and his team currently run Apologia Studios in Arizona, which bills itself as “Christian media that pulls no punches” while promising to be culturally engaging entertainment coupled with “sound theology and apologetics — suitable for the entire family!” according to their website. Their programming ranges from visceral Facebook Live broadcasts that include debates with atheists, pro-choice supporters, Mormons, and more. They also run the ministry End Abortion Now.
