Hurricane Matthew has been upgraded to a category 4 grade level and is considered as one of the most powerful in the Atlantic.

It’s shaping up to be a terrible storm with “torrential rainfall” and “strong winds” but that’s not robbing Jamaicans of their joy. As Twitter user Syrian Chica showed, at least some Jamaicans are having a little pre-storm fun:

Over the weekend, the Caribbean was hit and now on its path is Cuba, Bahamas, Haiti and Jamaica. So far, the three have a hurricane warning in effect.

Associated Press said, Forecasters have noted that as much as 40 inches of rain fall could hit less populated parts of Haiti. Causing a catastrophic blow to a place where people live in flimsy structured homes.

So far, two fisherman have died in rough water churned up by the approaching storm in Haiti.

Serge Barionette told the outlet,”Some of us will die but I pray it won’t be a lot.”

His home is Gressier and has a river that breaks past the banks during strong storms.

As of now, it is too early to predict its impact on America.

Prayers up for those who are expected to be impacted and ones that have been.
