TV weather personalities & meteorologists are issuing dire warnings as Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 hurricane, approaches Florida.
“If you stay you are risking your life” said one of Channel 9’s meteorologists tracking the story. They are urging folks in the path of the storm to evacuate and seek safer ground.
The storm is scheduled to make landfall in the states late Thursday or early Friday and hit areas storms don’t usually hit.

Governor Rick Scott flatly stated people were going to die.
We’re planning for the worst, hoping for the best, but we’re not going to take a chance. This is going to kill people.
Despite the serious warnings, many Floridians don’t appear all that concerned and some are even enjoying the pre-storm weather. One Facebook Live user caught footage of someone windsurfing on the Florida coast.
In a screenshot from Facebook user Corey Childs, one brave windsurfer is seen moments before catching huge air from a massive wave.
