“The Magnificent Seven” film touched our souls, because of its wonderful themes of faith and redemption wrapped in a fast pace and action heavy movie.

In an interview with CBN studio 5’s Efrem Graham, the actors sit down and discuss it all, including the use of stunt doubles.

Martin Sensmeier, who plays Red Harvest praises his stunt double and said, “a lot of action, a lot of cool stunts, I had a great stunt man by the way. I did a few of my own but he did an amazing job.”

The film with the tag line, “justice has a number” has strong players in its mix.

Including two time Academy Award winning actor, Denzel Washington who plays the role of Sam Chisolm, a bounty hunter who leads the others in trying to take back Rose Creek, a mining town in the old west.

On Washington’s characters’ faith, he said, “I think he is struggling with his, you know, he wants revenge really.”

Others that offered up a perspective include Chris Pratt.

Pratt opened up to Efrem about this film’s tie to his personal faith as well as the character he plays.

“That’s a really good question. Thank you. You know there are themes of redemption I think, forgiveness, those are major themes and my faith, my faith in the movie as well. I think these are people who have done bad things but are trying or seeking righteousness or opportunity to make amends,” he stated about his character, The Gambler.

On that note-we’ve left you with some final thoughts from Pratt.
