Country megastar, Carrie Underwood has spoken her truth about the birth of her one-year-old son Isiah. Saying the little wee one has “changed me as a person.”
“I’m happier. I’m in a better mood a lot of the time. He’ll be watching cartoons and I’ll be watching him. I’m completely in love. I love it when he’s sleepy and I get to hold him and smell him. He doesn’t know I’m staring at him and being all googly-eyed!,” she told Redbook in an interview.

But the best part is, the 33-year-old gives God the glory when it comes to her mommy ways and of course her stand out hubby, National Hockey League (NHL) player, Mike Fisher.
“If my husband were at the beginning of his career, I’m not sure we could handle it,” she said. “Since he’s kind of nearing the end and won’t be traveling so much, we’re like, ‘We can figure it out for not that long.’ You make it work. When I was pregnant, I thought, ‘How am I going to go on the road? How am I going to keep doing my job?’ I had to just give it to God and stop worrying about it. Sure enough, we figured it out.”
She sure did!
A recent Instagram post by the country music star is a great example of that. She writes, “Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there…especially to my own and to the father of my sweet angel, Isaiah! I’m so blessed to have such amazing, strong men in my life and so happy that he has such incredible examples to follow!”
