Kanye West, stands in his truth, and comes out and voices support for Trump, a stance that he has held before election 2016 voting day.

In reaction to this claim announcement on Thursday night at a San Jose, Calif. concert, a large number of fans in the crowd  booed in response.

West specifically spoke out between songs. Saying, “Now I said something that was kind of politically correct.”

“I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?”

“But I didn’t tell you, I guess I told you, but if I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump.”

Behind the scenes West’s track record tells a different story. Spin magazine shared via social media in a tweet that, Yeezus has donated to the Hillary for America and the DNC team in the last two years.

Kanye West’s decision not to vote, is a sentiment expressed by about fifty percent of the population that choose not to select a President for 2016.

The singer also said, he still plans on running for president in 2020.

The verbal endorsement of Trump to his predominantly millennial fan base didn’t sit well, with most in the crowd but left some wondering if this is just another publicity stunt.

West also recently played at Democratic event in October of last year, according to Daily Mail, where the cost of tickets were as high as $10,000.

The party that Kim Kardashian’s husband will run under has yet to be identified.

Social Media has reacted to what the star has decided to preach and everyone seems to be singing a different tune.

That's really interesting that Kanye West would have voted for Trump. I always like to know who people would've voted for if they did.
