‘The Best Way to Give Thanks is to Give your Time, Treasure & Talent to Those in Need’ – Here’s How Mike Pence Spent His Morning

The Republican Vice President-elect, Mike Pence, who now serves as a Governor of Indiana is giving back to the community, to showcase all that he’s thankful for this T-day via social media.

In a series of tweets shared on Wednesday before Thanksgiving on his official page, the Vice President shared the importance of what the organization, SecondHelpings is doing in his midwestern state.

Specifically saying, “Great to stop by @SecondHelpings this morning, an organization making a difference everyday in the Indy community.”

SecondsHelping is a non-profit organization based in Central Indiana that is focused on ending hunger, reducing waste and empowering people.

The group shared on social media about the Vice President’s visit to their space.

On Tuesday of this week, Pence was in New York working on the presidential transition team before coming back to Indiana to spend the holidays with his family and giving back to the community.
