The Bible is a massive text filled with scores of books aimed at uplifting, inspiring and educating humanity about God and creation. That said, studying the text can sometimes be a confusing and difficult undertaking, especially for beginners.
That’s why LifeWay Christian Stores is planning to host its first-ever “Bible Study Workshops” on Tuesday in store locations across America — a massive free, in-store effort to help people better navigate the Bible.
“Learn how to do a devotional Bible study, better understand scripture, and how it applies to life,” reads an event description.

The Bible Study Workshop is the first in a series of events that the Christian bookseller is planning for this year, with Nathan Magness, director of marketing strategy for LifeWay, telling the Baptist Press that the company is hoping to increasingly come alongside Christians to help them better integrate their faith into their lives.
“This event is another great example of something customers will find in their local LifeWay Store, where we are striving to walk with them every step of the way,” Magness said. “This past year, we began hosting monthly events in LifeWay Christian Stores around the country — from a Bible journaling workshop last January to a ‘Mommy & Me’ event last May.”
These past workshops have apparently been “very popular” and have attracted hundreds of people. Magness said the company took action after seeing a need for events that provide the tools needed to help people more easily study the Bible.
“These events offer our store teams an opportunity to really engage with their communities as well as an environment where customers can engage with one another,” he said.
Customers who choose to attend the free event can do so between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then again later on in the day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to an announcement from LifeWay.
And the first 75 people to attend at each store will receive a free Bible study workbook. LifeWay stores are located across America; check the store list here to find the location closest to you.
