Study after study suggests that porn addiction isn’t just a personal problem, but one that also serves as a major hurdle for a great many couples, as some people become so consumed by smut that their closest relationships start to suffer.
“Just based on the couples that I’ve seen through the years, at least 50 percent of the couples that are coming forward have some type of struggle with either pornography or internet affairs — or some kind of sexual issue,” Trena Mewborn, a counselor, proclaims in a YouTube video that offers up some solutions from those battling porn addiction.

Mewborn told CBN News last year that porn addiction flies under the radar within the church due to the shame that often accompanies it, but added her view that seeking help is essential.
“I personally don’t know anyone who has successfully battled a really bad addiction by themselves,” the counselor said.
