Jamie Lynn Spears is feeling blessed. The country singer’s daughter, Maddie, is at home recovering after a horrific ATV accident that had her in the hospitalized for days.
Earlier this week, Spears updated her followers with an update of how 8-year-old daughter was doing after being released from the hospital earlier this week.
Even though “Maddie isn’t quite ready to return to school,” her mother explained, she was cleared to bring in Valentine’s Day treats to her class.
“It made (Maddie) so happy to see her friends, and be able to give them such cute treats. It was a great moment for us after everything that has happened,” Spears explained. We are so thankful to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the ones we love, and we don’t take a second of it for granted ❤️Happy Valentine’s Day❤️”
Maddie was hurt during a “hunting expedition” on the family’s Kentwood, Louisiana property. The accident reportedly resulted in Maddie being trapped underwater, pinned down by the ATV for several minutes.
Due to the severity of the accident, Maddie was airlifted to a hospital to get immediate care.
Maddie’s step-father Jamie and mother have continuously thanked the public for their prayers, encouraging them to continue to lift up their daughter as her recovery continues to progress.
