A local police office in Clarksville, Indiana, was recently the victim of “fowl play,” after a goose had its feathers ruffled one too many times.
While the bird was relaxing in some nearby shade, the officer was walking down an adjacent sidewalk and seemed to have unintentionally startled the goose, setting a “wing-slapping” attack into motion.
WHAS 11 reports on the shocking scene below:
The only injury the officer seems to have sustained was a bruise ego.
Take the advice of one Louisville Zoo lead birdkeeper Craig Michael: “If you see a goose acting grumpy, give the bird some space and just know it’s nothing personal.”
