A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” is officially off the air, but its stars are sure to be remembered for years to come for their long hair and shaggy beards — the signature features that made brothers Jep, Jase and Willie Robertson so insanely recognizable.

But a new family video uploaded to Instagram this week that features the Robertsons enjoying a jovial birthday celebration while on their annual family vacation seems to reveal that Jase Robertson has chopped off his previously long locks.

The clip, shared by his wife Missy Robertson, shows Jase donning what appears to be a short hairdo — but he still has his long beard. Check it out below:

It’s no secret that the “Duck Dynasty” contract required that the brothers keep their hair and beards long throughout the year during filming, but with the popular TV show no longer on the air it seems Jase decided it was time for a major change.

And he isn’t the only Robertson brother to make some style amendments. In fact, on May 1, Jep Robertson and his wife, Jessica, streamed his own dramatic haircut on Facebook Live.

You can watch the nearly 30-minute video below:

“Jep’s been wanting to do this for a long time,” Jessica proclaimed in the video. “He’s been wanting to do this for like a year.”

She said that while her husband wanted to “change up the look a bit,” filming on the show previously didn’t allow it.
