Every couple wants their wedding to go perfectly, but the last thing you’d expect is for all of your wedding photos to be burned in a fire before you ever laid eyes on them.
That’s exactly what happened to Jennifer and Timothy Bing back in 1979, after they had a family friend shoot their wedding. In a freak accident, the store at which the photos were being developed burned down and the couple never got to see pictures of their big day.
Thirty-eight years later, they are still together and had mourning the loss of one of the most important days of their life in photographs. Luckily, their photographer daughter Ashleigh had a plan that would truly light up their lives.
Ashleigh offered to help her parents recreate those special photos, taking her parents to special places in the area and putting together a slideshow complete with the soundtrack from their wedding day.
When the project was complete, it was clear the Bings were extremely touched by their daughter’s beautiful act of thoughtfulness. While the photos may not be the originals, they are the next best thing. Nearly four decades ago, they may have never guessed their own daughter one be the one to bring those lost wedding photos back to them full circle.
