Former House Speaker and presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has released a new, online video course aimed at helping educate and inspire Americans.
The course, titled, “Defending America,” will tackle a variety of subjects, including religious liberty and the U.S. Constitution, making the case, among other points, that faith has always been central to America’s identity.
The six-part series will be comprised of lessons taught by Gingrich on the “most critical issues facing our nation.” Watch the trailer for the course below:
On the faith front, Gingrich will show “why religious faith is and always has been so essential to liberty, and what we must do to defend against those trying to replace our God-given freedom with man-based tyranny.”
The politician and media commentator will also focus on multiculturalism, the assault on the American dream that he believes is afoot, free speech, the Second Amendment and how Americans are being hurt by politicians in Washington, D.C.
“The radical Left is waging war on the core ideas that have made America the freest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world,” Gingrich said in a course announcement. “‘Defending America’ is my effort to arm patriotic Americans with the facts and arguments they need to defeat the Left’s attempt to fundamentally transform this country.”
Gingrich, who partnered with Red Seat Ventures on the launch of the online course, said that he’s hopeful the course will help equip Americans with “the truth.” Find out more about “Defending America” here.
