“Duck Dynasty” star Missy Robertson is on a mission to send a powerful biblical message to her fellow Christians.

Through her jewelry company Laminin and her new Faithwire podcast, “The Overcomers,” Robertson wants to remind her fellow believers about the responsibility Christians have to help those in need.

“Christians need to be aware that Christianity is not just lived in the church building — and those scriptures about feeding the sick and the hungry and taking in the widows and the orphans, those aren’t just the in case you happen to run across one at some point in your life,” she said during the latest episode of “Pure Talk,” a show brought to you by Faithwire and Pure Flix.

Robertson continued, “Jesus sought these people out and he wanted to take care of them.”

Watch her remarks below:

The reality TV star shared how Laminin employs ex-drug addicts and women who have been trafficked, explaining how her eyes have become opened to the plights of so many.

Now, she’s helping give these women a second chance, and, through the podcast, she’s sharing their personal experiences as well as their powerful decisions to change their lives.

“This sounds like a Lifetime movie,” she said of some of the women’s harrowing stories. “But it’s real.”
