Basketball star Jeremy Lin suffered a season-ending knee injuring on Wednesday night, but despite all of the disappointment and pain that he likely experienced, he quickly put his Christian faith on full display.

“God’s ALWAYS faithful and in control,” Lin tweeted presumably after his injury.

Lin, who plays for the Nets, could be seen during the game immediately grabbing his right knee in shock before proclaiming, “I’m done. I’m done.”

He was then assisted to the locker room, as the gravity of the injury set in.

Lin apparently suffered a patellar tendon rupture in his knee and will be out for the entire 2017-2018 season, The New York Post reported.

Back in 2012, Lin became a household name after some successful moves on the court.

As TheBlaze noted in 2014, “Lin, an outspoken Christian, captured headlines when he led the New York Knicks on a 7-game winning streak during his first NBA season.”
