Music star Carrie Underwood tweeted thanks to her fans today, and also gave a shout out to the “best hubby in the world” for taking care of her in the aftermath of what appeared to be a serious fall.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.

Underwood, who recently hosted the CMA awards program, reportedly took a “hard fall” down some steps at her personal residence this past Friday night. The fall was serious enough that she had to be taken to the hospital, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

While her life was not in danger, it appears to be a fairly serious fall. She had to cancel a performance, and also suffered a broken wrist along with some cuts and abrasions. Her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher, was out of town and immediately flew back to Tennessee to assist his injured wife.

In a statement released by Underwood’s team she relayed that she was thankful for all the prayers and that the recover would likely take some time.
