Debate has continued to swirl over the so-called “Billy Graham Rule” — famed evangelist Billy Graham’s personal policy of not dining or meeting alone with women who weren’t his wife.
As Faithwire previously reported, the issue gained renewed life after reports that Vice President Mike Pence has his own personal policy of not dining alone with women and of only attending events where alcohol is being served if his wife is by his side.
Pence’s views sparked quite a bit of debate among Christians and secular Americans, alike. While some heralded Pence for going out of his way to protect his marriage, others said that the policy is actually sexist and puts women at a disadvantage.
