A lot of words get thrown around when people debate abortion. Choice, viability, women’s rights. Most of them don’t come anywhere near describing what is actually taking place.
People on both sides of the debate have all but tuned the most common catch-phrases and slogans, rendering them meaningless. But a new way to show the true nature of abortion is making the rounds on social media: using sign language. How would you describe abortion to someone who can’t hear? This is what it actually looks like to sign abortion, and it’s as chilling as you’d imagine:
Pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha describes it disturbingly accurate. “It’s like throwing a baby in a bin (which is how abortions end)” she posted on Twitter.
The sign language translation of Abortion sends chills down my spine… it's like throwing a baby in the bin(which is how Abortions end)… pic.twitter.com/MPJ9wFRe0Y

Some people called into question the authenticity of this claim, so Ekeocha posted some sourcing to back it up.
Some have asked if my tweet about the Sign Language for "Abortion" is true.
Answer:Yes it is

Others weighed in as well, saying the sign didn’t quite go far enough:

The debate can often run around in circles, and a large reason for that is the fact that the actual events taking place aren’t truly being discussed. Abortion is the intentional termination of a human life. No amount of fancy wording can change that fact, yet so many people have been deceived.
Perhaps this simple sign language will help open the eyes of those who have been tricked into thinking abortion is about something other than the death of an unborn child.
