As you can see, the shot has already garnered almost one million likes and some 60 thousand comments of congratulations. Chip continued with his brilliant social media posts by sending out this tweet:

Hint #3 You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber

Oh, and then this not-so-cryptic message just a day before their big reveal:

The popular duo is already parents to children Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7.

“Congrats @joannagaines & @chipgaines! We can’t wait to meet #BabyGaines. #FixerUpper #GrowingUpGaines,” TV network HGTV tweeted.

New year, new hope… Be expectant. There is just something about fresh faith and unwavering trust that brings life to our souls. May this be your best year yet. #2018

A couple months back, Chip had talked about his desire to have more kids. “We had four babies right before the show started, and then we’ve had zero babies since the show started,” he told Houston ABC affiliate, KTRK in November. “For me, I’m really excited to go back and try to maybe . . . try to make some more babies.”

Back in June, Joanna told PEOPLE, “I would love another baby — or twins! The kids are always asking me, ‘Mom, can you have another baby?’ But Chip thinks we’re done.” In September, Jo added: “Family is the most important thing in the world.”

The pair recently announced that Season 5 of their hugely popular show Fixer Upper would be the last — explaining they wanted to spend more time with their children.

“I think for us we felt that season five was just the perfect end to this beautiful chapter, but really the why is time, you know,” Joanna shared with E! News after the annoucement to bring the show to a close.

Chip added: “Time with our family is the most important thing to us…We are pretty headstrong and when we feel like it is the right decision for our relationship, for our family, for our business, it would take an act of congress to knock us off that position.”

Congratulations to Chip and Jo on this wonderful news!
