Actress Sope Aluko has revealed the fascinating dynamic that unfolded on the set of Marvel Comics’ “Black Panther,” set to release next month.

Aluko, an outspoken Christian who plays Shaman in the movie, said that her on-set experience was wonderful, and that everyone was kind and down to Earth, according to The Christian Post.

She also said an interview with Okay Africa that the experience — particularly during breaks between shooting scenes — was almost like being in church.

When asked what it was like to work with performs like Forest Whitaker, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o, she held little back.

“It felt very familiar and like home. We had early call times but I didn’t even feel the long set hours because it was such a good time,” she said. “I didn’t feel like I was amongst stars, everyone was so down to earth and normal.”

Aluko continued, “During breaks we shared our testimony of how we got to where did and most of the people were testifying to God’s miracles, it was almost like church.”

The actress frequently posts Christian sentiment on social media.  In October, she shared a quote that read, “Maintaining my relationship with God, because without Him I am nothing.”
