The newly minted Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to find ways to benefit charity in the wake of their wedding, which was watched by millions across the globe on Saturday.

Prior to their nuptials, Prince Harry and fiancé Meghan Markle requested that, instead of wedding gifts, guests donate to their favorite charities.

In addition, the flowers used in their wedding celebrations didn’t go to waste – they were turned into arrangements for hospice patients in London.

On Sunday, residents of St. Joseph’s Hospice woke up to the sweet-smelling surprise.

The flowers had adorned St. George’s Chapel and St. George’s Hall in Windsor, England, during the celebrations.

The bouquets were made of foxgloves, peonies, and white garden roses, CNN reported.

One of the patients, Pauline Clayton, 89, previously worked as an embroideress to one of the queen’s dressmakers, Normal Hartnell.

Clayton had worked on the queen’s own wedding dress at the age of 19.
