Two of the most famous babies in modern history have met, and there’s an adorable photo to prove it.
Earlier this month, 91-year-old Ann Turner Cook, the first-ever Gerber baby, met 1-year-old Lucas Warren, the newest Gerber baby and the first Gerber “spokesbaby” with Down syndrome.

The Warren family – who are from Dalton, Georgia — were on vacation in Florida and couldn’t pass up the chance to meet Cook, CNN reported.
Cook’s grandson, Chris Colin, took the photo, which quickly went viral.
In February, Gerber made the landmark announcement that Lucas would be its spokesbaby for the year. He beat out 140,000 other babies for the coveted spot.
Cook’s black-and-white sketch portrait became the company’s official trademark in 1931. In 2010, Gerber began its annual tradition of accepting photo submissions for a year-long ad campaign.
Lucas’s mother, Courtney Warren, described her son as outgoing during an appear on the Today show in February. He has been a beacon of light and hope for other parents who have children with Down syndrome.
