A motorist in Texas has captured an absolutely stunning cloud formation that closely resembles an angelic figure. Danny Ferraro, 57, says he was driving west on Highway 105 in Montgomery with his wife, Carmen Ferraro, when he spotted the cloud, illuminated by the setting sun.

“I immediately noticed the cloud formation and the brilliant rays of sun straight ahead of us and I told Carmen, ‘Wow, look at that!’ We both saw the angel and felt it meant that everything would be okay,” Ferraro told PEOPLE. “I just felt like God was saying, ‘I’m always with you.’ I don’t know how many others saw it, but I’m sure it meant something special to everyone who did.”

Ferraro snapped a photo and shared it to his Facebook page, where it has now been shared almost 4,000 times.

“We were at the right spot at exactly the right time,” he said. “I never thought [the photo] would get so many likes and responses and that it would bring comfort to some as well. I feel very honored and blessed to have captured this moment.”

The newly married couple noted that they’d been dealing with a range of family issues over the past few weeks, and that the beautiful cloud formation came as a reminder that with God, everything is possible.

“We have literally been dealing with several different family matters since we stepped off the plane from our honeymoon,” Ferraro told PEOPLE. “God can speak to us in many different ways and for that I’m thankful.”

In a statement to KSAT-TV, Ferraro said, “I consider myself a Christian and a believer, but I don’t attend church regularly.” Perhaps the image he witnessed was a divine nudge to reconnect with his faith.

While many commenting on the photo did not believe that it was a work of God, others found hope in the stunning image.

“Thank you Jesus for always sending us signs of HOPE,” one commenter declared. “Today I saw a very similar cloud. Angel was my first thought,” another added.

“There is no reason for me to doubt that it is an angel,” wrote another.
