There’s nothing quite like baptism day at church. Seeing people proclaim publicly that they are a new creation in Christ just never gets old.

It’s particularly stunning when you see mass baptisms happen in unlikely places. Best known for a vapid reality show, towns on the Jersey shoreline conjure up a lot of mental images, but it’s likely very few of them have anything to do with Jesus.
So, it may have come to quite a surprise to many beachgoers in Ocean City, New Jersey when they saw a large crowd gathering to baptize anyone who wanted to come forward.
Coastal Christian Church in Ocean City puts out the call two times per summer, and they spend a few hours baptizing and celebrating with everyone who has made their public declaration in Christ.
This time, nearly 50 people decided to take the plunge. In a beautiful video, people can be seen celebrating with each declaration of faith in Jesus. Around the 2:50 mark, some of the folks who were baptized explained why they made the decision.
It’s such a joy to see God moving and drawing people to Him.
