While everyone was enjoying their Sunday afternoon, Dr. Leah Torres, an abortion doctor and political activist, took to Twitter to convince the world that “God performs way more abortions” than she does.

Planned Parenthood’s Disturbing New Billboards: ‘I Had an Abortion, and I Am Not Apologizing for It’

Christian Headlines reported that a Twitter user named Jake Highwell tweeted at Torres this weekend, asking, “I wonder what God thinks?” referring to her occupation.

Torres fired back, saying, “Everyone seems to assert they know what god thinks, so have at it. God performs way more abortions than I do, so there’s that.”

The tweet quickly garnered attention from both sides of the aisle, with pro-life Twitter users astonished that Torres could ever say such a thing, while pro-choice users praised her response.

Pro-life news outlet Life News offered this response: “But you believe in evolution. So it’s evolution’s fault, not God’s. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And we won’t touch how massively offensive it is to compare someone’s tragic miscarriage to purposefully killing a baby in an abortion.”

But you believe in evolution. So it's evolution's fault, not God's. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

And we won't touch how massively offensive it is to compare someone's tragic miscarriage to purposefully killing a baby in an abortion.

One Twitter user named Toni doubled down on this sentiment, noting the huge difference between making a choice to end the life of your unborn baby and tragically losing yours in a miscarriage.

“Except most miscarriages are because of an issue with the pregnancy/ non viability & most abortions are viable pregnancies,” Toni wrote. “But you know that.”

“Trying to decipher what God thinks can be difficult, but I’m reasonably certain he’s not offing children because they’ll get in the way of some exciting career opportunities,” another user wrote.

Torres’ outburst was nothing new. In a tweet that went viral last March, the proud abortionist shot back at a user for saying babies could scream in the womb, saying it was impossible because she cuts the spinal cord before they can.

“You know fetuses can’t scream, right? I transect the cord 1st so there’s really no opportunity, if they’re even far enough along to have a larynx,” Torres wrote.

“I won’t apologize for performing medicine. I’m also a ‘uterus ripper outer,’ if that’s how you’d like to describe hysterectomy,” she quipped.

Life News reported that the tweet has since been deleted but that hasn’t stopped the abortion doctor from repeatedly tweeting horrendous things, as she did this past weekend.
