A former patient of Planned Parenthood revealed in a recent interview an abortionist allegedly detailed to her the horrific plan of action in place for an infant born alive after a failed abortion attempt.
Should the baby be born breathing, the unnamed woman told Pro-Life Action Ministries, the doctor said the medical team “would break the baby’s neck.”
After hearing the St. Louis, Minnesota, abortionist’s barbaric methods, the woman, who was 22 weeks pregnant at the time, decided not to go through with her abortion.
The woman recalled the abortionist using a long needle to inject her with digoxin, which causes the unborn baby to go into cardiac arrest, but it was unsuccessful. So she asked the doctor, “If you guys were to take him out right now, while he’s still, his heart rate is still, you know, going, what would you guys do?”
“[S]he told me that, ‘We don’t tell women this, and a lot of women don’t even ask this question, but if we was to proceed with the abortion, and the baby was to come out still alive and active, most likely, we would break the baby’s neck,’” the woman continued.
Immediately, the woman decided to stop her treatment. She chose to keep her unborn child.
This woman’s testimony comes not long after embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) defended the commonwealth’s failed abortion bill by seemingly endorsing infanticide.
Virginia Del. Kathy Tran (D), the lead sponsor behind the bill that would have enhanced residents’ access to late-term abortion, claimed her legislation would have permitted abortion for a woman, even if she had started labor.
Northam, defending the bill, said an infant — after he or she was born — “would be kept comfortable” and “resuscitated if that’s what the mother and family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
How did the doctor respond?
According to the woman, the Planned Parenthood staff members were not happy when she decided to halt her abortion, claiming they were trying to “sell” their abortive care to her.
“The more I was telling them no, it was more like they were trying to sell me something, like a seller that pushes you and pushes you until you buy their item or their product,” she recalled. “That’s how it felt, as if they were trying to sell me this abortion.”
Thankfully, the young mother chose differently. She went on to give birth to a healthy baby boy.
