Justin Bieber has had quite the week, first performing worship set at an L.A. church on Wednesday night, then opening up about his past and present relationship with God on Monday night on Instagram.
There’s a visual transformation taking place in the pop star’s heart, and he’s sharing it with his 118 million Instagram followers.
To keep it going, Actor Stephen Baldwin, father of Hailey Baldwin, shared a video with TMZ updating fans and followers on the couples upcoming wedding.
The “The Least of These” TV star and outspoken Christian shared that the focus of the wedding would be on Jesus, as the couple’s relationship has been strongly founded on just that.
Stephen’s comments came following the tabloids release of Justin and Hialeys save the date invitation, which said the wedding would be September 30, in South Carolina.
“I just think that as Christians and as believers they understand that if you don’t have God’s spirit working in your marriage it just makes it more and more difficult to make it work and have peace and find happiness,” Baldwin shared with TMZ.
“Weddings and marriage are supposed to be a holy commitment, one onto another,” he added.
The couple is currently still browsing venues for their September 30 celebration, looking in South Carolina for the perfect spot.
The wedding comes a year after Justin and Hailey wedded after a few months of dating, a courthouse ceremony that surprised both of their fans. Since then the couple has written about their spiritual journey as husband and wife on Instagram, occasionally updating fans on the ups and downs of marriage.
According to Hailey’s dad, the couple is “going to have a lot of their pastor friends and their Christian friends around them this time,” and will be a lot of fun.
According to Baldwin, his “only job is just walking my princess down the aisle.”
Last June, the couple reunited for a fast and quick romance, getting engaged one month later, and married in September.
“When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life. I was like, holy cow, this is what I’ve been looking for,” Bieber said.
Justin and Hailey had previously dated on and off in 2016, eventually calling it quits for the sake of their friendship.
“I don’t want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility,” Bieber said in 2016 about Baldwin. “I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged.”
Eventually, Hailey did become the girl Justin married, and now they are planning their wedding celebration together.
