On February 23, 2019, more than 60,000 people gathered at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida for The Send. Seven collaborating ministries were dreaming and praying into, “a new era for the convergence of prayer and missions to see the re-evangelization of America and the completion of the Great Commission.”

With the goal to catalyze Christians into Christ-like action from The Send Orlando, the numbers were staggering: 522 people gave their lives to Jesus; 17,576 committed to participate in a 40-day Jesus Fast; 2,137 people committed to reaching their colleges for Christ; while 2,384 committed to reaching their high schools.

Another 4,893 people declared that they will reach their friends and neighborhoods, with 5,038 saying they will go to the nations as missionaries. An online equipping platform called The Suitcase was launched at the event with hundreds making a commitment to foster or adopt children.

On Monday, October 21, collaborators publicly announced The Send Kansas City, at Arrowhead Stadium. They’re expecting some 75,000 attendees in October 2020. Arrowhead Stadium is said to be, “the loudest stadium in America,” and The Send desires to, “make the sound of, ‘GO’ so loud a whole generation could hear.”

The collaborators of The Send are Andy Byrd of Youth With A Mission, Daniel Kolenda of Christ For All Nations, Lou Engle formerly of The Call, Brian Brent of Circuit Riders, Michael Koulianos of Jesus Image and Teo Hayashi of Dunamis Movement.

Their first international event, The Send Brazil, will be hosted in 3 stadiums at Sao Paulo on February 8, 2020. When that event was publicly announced with the intention of using one stadium over 125,000 people registered to attend in the first 24 hours. The spiritual hunger shown in the registrations reveal a great missions movement is beginning in Brazil.

Andy Byrd is challenging people to, “push again, for the Great Commission to become the centerpiece in the conversation of the Church.”
