He’s been stealing headlines all year in the NFL, having emerged as the clear frontrunner for the NFL’s coveted MVP honor. He’s also been praised for his humble attitude — and his faith-filled answer has people talking yet again.

Despite Season-Ending Injury, Carson Wentz Turns To His Unshakeable Faith: ‘I Know Jesus Has A Plan’

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is the most lethal dual-threat in NFL history, passing Michael Vick’s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback. He also is leading the league in TD passes.

When asked what keeps him humble, he launched into an answer that sparked quite a positive reaction:

“The Lord. I give him all his praise the glory and the honor. I could’ve been doing anything, you know. It’s crazy. I’m talking to him throughout the day, ‘I appreciate you’ ‘I thank you’. Because when you feel you’re bigger than the Lord that’s when all that success dies. It goes away.”

Wise words from this young man. Prayers for continued success and strong faith in the days and years ahead! Always great to see yet another quarterback in the NFL with a huge platform — like Nick Foles, Carson Wentz, Kirk Cousins, and more — willing to talk about their faith.

Praise God!
