Most of the time, Twitter is a vast expanse filled with a barrage of thoughtless hot takes, the targets include anyone and everyone. It’s a war zone and it’s often not pretty.

But every now and then, something good comes out of the chaos. And for one user who goes by the name Mary, that good came in the form of over one hundred thousand prayers on behalf of the young child growing in her womb.

I am 13 weeks pregnant with a history of 7 miscarriages (in between our living miracles!!)
and I’ve been cramping all day: I know this is weird to ask publicly but I’m desperate for prayers. Please pray this child will live. I’m just so scared

Mary prefaced her request for prayers by revealing she’s had 7 miscarriages in her lifetime, and that she was scared because she’s currently pregnant and has been cramping all day.

Unplanned star Ashley Bratcher joined in with the prayer warriors.

Praying for you sweet momma! ?❤️

Many messages of encouragement came in as well.

My wife have had contractions since week 10. Then she had to go into hospital in week 23 and stayed until week 35. All the time the doctors said that our baby will not survive.
He turned 15 last week.
Nothing is impossible. I wish you the best of luck. ?

You know what? I had 6 miscarriages and cramping with the next… This beauty survived… off to college in the fall! pic.twitter.com/vkNW0bb73U

Mary did respond to some of the prayers with gratitude, such as this one:

Thank you so much, crying, thank you so much

As of yet, there has been no update on the pregnancy — continue lifting this momma up in your prayers. And pray for all the women who have miscarried, it’s a difficult thing to deal with and many women deal with it in silence.
