Tim Tebow, a former NFL star and professional baseball player, is widely known for his bold and outspoken Christian faith — and his evangelistic spirit shows no signs of slowing down.

Listen to the latest episode of CBN’s Quick Start podcast 👇

Tebow, who is out with a new devotional titled “Mission Possible One-Year Devotional: 365 Days of Inspiration for Pursuing Your God-Given Purpose,” recently sat down with CBN’s Faithwire to discuss his life, faith, overcoming challenges, and why he so boldly shares Jesus with the world.

“I think it’s the most loving thing that we could do,” Tebow said of spreading his Christian faith. “If you really believe the rescue mission of Jesus Christ … of what He did for us on the cross … a great joy for all the people, and if I’ve been able to receive this free gift … and if I don’t share that with someone else, that’s not loving.”

He continued, “It’s actually selfish, and the most loving thing that I can do is to share that in a kind and loving way.”

Watch Tebow share his journey through ups and downs — and the power of his faith:

Tebow said Christ’s life, death, and resurrection is the “greatest gift of all time,” and he’s hoping “Mission Possible” helps drive home this reality in the hearts and minds of readers.

He believes people each have a “God-given mission” — and wants to help people discover that reality.

“It’s a title that I love, because it’s an encouragement to me, and it motivates me,” he said of “Mission Possible.” “When you understand that you do have a mission and you understand it’s possible, I think it can be a driving force in our life.”

Despite the obstacles often thrown at individuals, he said it’s essential to look past the chaos and start every day with Scripture and truth.

Tebow believes this can help people see through lies to discern eternal truths better.

“Ultimately, I think all of us in our flesh want comfort. We desire comfort and we work for comfort,” he said. “But what we realize in our walk with the Lord … the more we get outside of our comfort zone, a lot of times the more impact we can have.”

Tebow is passionate about letting God work in these uncomfortable spots and encouraging people to simply step forward in faith and plant seeds of truth and love in others.
