Zachary recently told CBN News on the KLOVE Awards red carpet that she was elated to “be in a room with people that love Jesus and love music.”

While discussing her Breakout Single of the Year nomination for her song, “Stay,” Zachary also revealed something else: she was once supernaturally healed from clinical depression.
The singer revealed the moment after being asked to share the biggest way that the Lord supernaturally worked in her life.
“I would say about … four or five years ago now, I was actually healed of clinical depression, and it still is one of the more profound moments of my life that I can’t explain,” she said. “But I know that I’m living and walking in miracle of it, and I feel the generosity of God in it, ’cause He didn’t have to do it that way, but He did.”
Zachary said the healing was instantaneous and miraculous, adding to the intrigue of it all. And a dramatic experience stands out in her mind — a moment when true healing took form.
“I was at a worship night, and I was actually leading worship, and I got prayed for, and I literally like, fell out on the ground for, like, probably a solid half hour,” she said. “And just got up and was like, ‘I don’t know what happened.’ It felt like it got ripped out of my chest by God. And it was really profound to get up, and I actually felt lighter, and I’ve never felt that same dark shadow ever since then, not to say that I haven’t had hard days.”
Remarkably, she said all of her medical tests moving forward were radically different from before. Thus, she said she has “medical proof” of God working in an incredible way.
It’s especially powerful considering Zachary’s depression was so dark and difficult that she once found herself pleading with the Lord and telling Him she didn’t know what to do.
“You’re either gonna have to heal me, or we’re gonna have to figure something out,” she recalled telling God. “And … just that candid prayer to the Lord … He showed up.”
Watch her discuss this powerful moment.
