A man who is alleged to have been exposing himself as he rode along a suburban Houston street was taken down by one fearless grandmother.

The 68-year-old grandmother, “Granny Jean,” recalled how the disturbed individual arrived outside her house on a bicycle, before approaching her front door with his pants down.
“Some guy pulled off his pants and pulled his pants open, playing with his thing, and he ran up and I told him to get away from my door, or I will shoot him,” she told KTRK-TV.
Granny Jean was not messing around, but the stranger apparently took her meek and mild appearance as an invitation to keep pressing forward onto her property — that was a big mistake.
When Jean realized that he was not going to stop, she drew her firearm.
“He kept coming and reached for my door after it was locked,” Jean, who looks after her disabled grandson in her home, explained. “So I shot through the door.”
The grandmother only fired one shot, but she hit her target, striking the man in the chest.
“I don’t bother nobody, I don’t get in nobody’s business,” Jean said. “It’s just me and him, and like I keep saying, I warned him.”
The 38-year-old suspect was rushed to hospital, where police say he was required to undergo surgery.
The man was known to the police. Just last week, he was arrested for running naked through the street. He was out on bond when he stumbled upon Granny Jean’s place.
As for this tough old woman, she said her actions serve as a warning to anyone who might be looking for trouble at her doorstep: “They better stay away.”
